Damon Vestervand

Founder, CEO & CTO

Damon is a software engineer with 25+ years of full-stack experience, having built and scaled products at startups of all sizes, including Uber and Coupa. He has led teams across engineering, infrastructure, and product, and spent the last two years working deeply with AI — applying it to code generation, predictive analysis, moderation, and workflow automation.

A lifelong skier, snowboarder, cyclist, and surfer, Damon is now based in Denmark's Cold Hawaii surf community. His ethos is simple:

"Trying to find the perfect coffee-to-beer ratio in a day means blending my passion for both outdoor sports and technology. Spotta is built from that balance — serious craft with a playful spirit, aimed at making time outside smarter and more rewarding."
